Tornadoes Day 2 - Arden

Dear Cousins,

Alright, I'm now in the middle of the tornadoe blogging on my computer in the basement. I can barely even hear myself think because of the loud tornadoe! Thank goodness we got everyone downstairs including the cats and dogs. We have enough food to last each person a month down here. I can now here some glass shattering and chairs hitting the walls.

Since we have a window in the basement to see outside of the house, it looks terrifying outside. I can see the tornadoe. It's raining rain and large hail outside at the same time. The sky is dark greenish black. I can see cars and trees flying through the air as well as parts to roofs and sheds. It's so bad out there that I'm worried that a tornadoe will come your way some time soon. If you guys want to succesfully survive a tornadoe, follow these tips. Before a tornadoe even occurs, ALWAYS listen to the radio. Tornadoes usually come with either no or very little warning. Look out for any thunderstorms becuase thats where tornadoes come from. Listen for any loud eery train noises or hail as well as green skies with low lying clouds. If you are not in a stable structure, you need to get in one as soon as possible. Never try to outrun a tornadoe with a vehicle because it will not work. Exit any vehicle that you are in. Always have a first aid kit wherever you are staying at. Try to prepare a safe room like in the basement. Those basement walls have to be thick enough to take ANYTHING from a tornadoe! If not you are probably either not going to survive this or really really really really really lucky.

Right now I'm safe and surpringly the power is still on. Oh yeah I forgot the back up generator is on so we still have power. Don't worry about us because we will all be fine. Just hopefully the internet doesn't.....................
