Hey, What's up?!
Theres a bad storm Heading towards Delaware right now. Right now it's an class 2 hurricane. A hurricane is a low pressure system. And It has a lot of cumulonimbus clouds. Those are the dark and stormy ones. The weatherpeople are estimating it to increace only to a class 3. That is intermidiate damage. I'm just happy theres no school. Well before we got off from school we were lerning about storms. And I found out how a hurricane forms Its really interesting. At first a hurricane starts out as a group of thunderstorms over a tropical area. Then the storms become organized. The humid air rises and it cuases the clouds to grow and the system to expand. Next the winds increase and air is circulated. There are things called wind sheers that slows down the system. A wind sheer is a patch of a storm where the winds are unorganized and don't blow in the direction of the rest of the storm. The less wind sheers in a hurricane the more the atmospheres pressure will grow. This process may sound long but it can happen in a matter of hours. But somtimes a few days. After that you've got yourself a hurricane.
