Hurricane- Ryan Y.

Hey mom, hey dad! I'm still in Florida, and the hurricane has progressed and got much worse. Its winds are blowing at 74mph which is the regular rate of speed for every hurricane, and It's partly a thunderstorm also this is because hurricanes begin its process at a thunderstorm stage then progress to a hurricane. I also have noticed that its dying hot here, and it is hard to breathe ,this is an indication of large quantities of humidity in the air which means it could be sticking around for a while because hurricanes need humidity to survive and their is plenty right now for it to keep feeding off of and grow larger. I think i might be alright though, because we bought storm panel hurricane shudders which are made of steel and keep the hurricane from destroying are house with its flying debris. We put the shudders all around the house on the walls, the door, and the windows. Also we installed straps on the top of the roof to secure the buildings structure and to secure the roof from ripping off by the 74mph winds. Then we sealed all the doors shut in the house and we also brought in all the stuff we had outside that could damage our house. We're in the basement right now listening to our crank radio to keep track of the hurricane. I think were going to leave in a day or so we've already filled gas in are car so if were in trouble we can just drive away from the hurricane to stay away from its power gusts. HOLY SMOKES ! ITS RIPPING OUR HOUSE OUT OF THE GROUND I GOTTA GO! BYE!
